Maria Veronica Iglesias …
Born in Mexico City. She holds a bachelor's degree in librarianship and a master's degree in Mesoamerican Studies, both from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
She grew up in a family where ancestors and pre-Columbian traditions were honored.
She was initiated as a smoker when she was 9 years old. She has studied traditional Mexican medicine with Nahua indigenous communities. She is also priestess of Ix'Cheel, the Mayan deity of Medicine.
She has been working with the archetypes of Mesoamerican female deities for the healing of women and female energy for 10 years.
Together with Anne Key she has created the Jade Oracle, with the aim of bringing the ancient wisdom of Mexico to a new generation.
